Out of our own needs to grow in new ways of generating support for our art and ministry we are exploring the formation of an artists support group. This would be a regular meeting for working artists of all kinds (and those wanting to become so) who want to learn how to better support their life in the arts. Each meeting would be at a location in San Diego and consist of members sharing their knowledge, successes and current efforts in the business of the arts.
There would also be presentations from artists who have successfully made a living in the arts. The group would create opportunities for networking, collaboration and circulation in the arts community, all of which can result in "paying gigs".
